Sunday

We were driven by the Czech team to Elim Church in Pisek, about 30 miles away.  We saw many different shades of green as we drove through the rolling hills.  It reminded us Kentucky and Wisconsin.  The music was fabulous, familiar tunes but not understanding the words.  The message was inspiring as we heard it through individual interpreters.  1 Peter 2:1-3.  We were blessed to see Amy and Matt Hartman and their family being welcomed to the Elim Church.

We had a great answer to our prayers; our luggage has been found and should be deliver later today.

Campers arrive at about 4:00 today and we are busy setting up.

We made it!

From Denver, to Houston, to Frankfurt and Prague, we all made it safe and sound.
With the exception of a half a dozen bags; three personal and three with supplies.
Pray the rest of our luggage arrives soon!

We all made it to the airport with plenty of time to spare.
We were blessed with a bus ride from CHCC to the Airport.
Thank you Brett for waking up so early to drive the church bus!

3 Days and Counting!

Everyone is busy putting together last minute details and lists of things not to forget (passport, medicines, curriculums, stopping the mail, bug spray, etc.).  I'm sure we won't really know if we covered everything until we've had time to think about it on our long trip on the plane :)

A Busy Sunday

Cherry Hills Community Church has an excellent training program for short term mission trips.  We are doubly blessed to have Sheryl Smith as our team leader as well as instructor for our Pre-Field Orientation. We had a super full day on Sunday and got to know each team member better.  After our Pre-Field Orientation we had our packing party.  Besides our personal luggage we will be taking approximately a dozen boxes filled with curriculum, crafts, games, snacks and supplies.

Each team member will take one additional bag to be checked with team supplies.
